Working with Harder to Reach Youth

Working with harder to reach young people was the initial focus for the READY project, inspiring us to come together to come up with new ideas and tools to help make young people more engaged, feeling safer and more interested in the youth spaces in which they spend their time. We need to always be aware of the day that a young person has had or is going to have, their energy levels and desire to participate may not be amenable to what we plan to do, as youth workers and educators. The READY project is trying to better understand this gap and to come up with practical tools to bridge it.
