Everything you need to know to implement the READY programme effectively, from using its activities and advice to prepare young people for sessions, to building a community of users who share experiences across diverse contexts, and extending its development to reach and support more youth workers throughout Europe.

Developing a READY Handbook

Our first stages of the project involved talking to youth workers and teachers and trainers in Ireland, Slovenia and Sweden to see how they currently approach engaging harder to reach young people. Their insights and ideas helped us to shape our handbook.

Creating a READY Training Programme

Once we had worked on our handbook, taking in the feedback and using our expertise in restorative and TeenYoga practices, we then looked to how best we can share the handbook.

We then created a training programme.

Delivering the Training

Our desire to share the READY lessons and ideas will see us training our colleagues and peers across our partner countries initially, but then also internationally as we bring people involved in youth development together for a summer school.

Building a READY Community

As we work on the various elements of the project, we are meeting new people who share our vision and are interested in these new tools of youth development. We are building a community of practice both in person and online. Register here and get involved.
